Anthonette was born in Nebraska in the late 40’s and grew up in a small farming community. Her love of art started very young and when it was
time to pick a major in college she wanted to go into that field. There were already 3 of her 5 siblings working toward degrees and her father said
“you can already Draw”… So she left Ne. and came to Colorado. She never lost her desire to create but it took years before she attempted to produce
pieces of her own. She is self taught. Working in her studio brings her the kind of peace and calmness that can otherwise be a bit illusive.
Most of Anthonette’s work’s are created on slabs of stone and are portraits of clients pets, however horses and wildlife are her favorite subjects
